I’m thrilled to introduce you to VideoSnack. This powerful application allows you to effortlessly convert your YouTube videos into various forms of text content, including blog posts, newsletters, summaries, or show notes.
A Seamless Conversion Process
Let me walk you through a quick demonstration of how VideoSnack works. I’ll use one of our videos from the HeadwayApps Youtube Channel as an example.
Currently VideoSnack works as an add-on in Google Docs. You can install it from the Google WorkSpace Marketplace.
After opening the VideoSnack tool, you’ll see several options. First, paste the link to the YouTube video you want to convert. Then, choose the desired format – blog, interview summary, tutorial, review, newsletter, or show notes.
VideoSnack offers additional customization options to tailor the output to your specific needs. You can adjust the tone of voice, select the content length (ranging from a short summary to a more comprehensive piece), and even change the point of view.
Furthermore, if your video is in English but you require the text in another language, VideoSnack can accommodate that as well.
Seamless Integration with Google Docs
Once you’ve set your preferences, simply click the “Start Conversion” button, and VideoSnack will generate the output text complete with HTML tags. This text can be easily copied and pasted directly into your content management system (CMS) like WordPress.
Alternatively, you can insert it into Google Docs, where it will be neatly formatted with a title and proper heading structure.
Within Google Docs, you can further edit and enhance the content by adding links, images, or any other desired elements. If you wish to publish the content directly to your WordPress blog from Google Docs, our export tool makes the process seamless.
Additional Features for Optimized Content
VideoSnack offers a range of AI-powered tools to help optimize your content. You can generate video topics and descriptions for YouTube, analyze the generated text for SEO friendliness, and make necessary adjustments.
Additionally, you can directly export your content from Google Docs to your WordPress blog with just a few clicks.
Beyond YouTube: Loom Video Support
While VideoSnack currently supports YouTube videos, we’ve also integrated Loom video conversion capabilities.
To convert a Loom video, ensure that the transcript has been generated (which may take a few seconds or minutes, depending on the video’s length). The conversion process and customization options are similar to those for YouTube videos.
